NGC 1514 (aussi appelé la nébuleuse de la boule de crystal) est une nébuleuse planétaire située dans la constellation du Taureau. Elle a été découverte par l'astronome germano-britannique William Herschel en 1790.

It was discovered by William Herschel on November 13, 1790, describing it as "a most singular phaenomenon" and forcing him to rethink his ideas on the construction of the heavens.
